How far apart should cornhole boards be placed?
Regulation cornhole board distance is 27 feet between the front ends of the boards. Since the cornhole board length is 4 feet, and the hole is 1 foot from the top of the board, a length of 27 feet between the boards results in a 30 foot throw to the hole. Conveniently, the average parking space is 9 feet long, making it really easy to measure how far apart to place the boards (3 spots!) when tailgating in a parking lot.
